Map names such as author to where that value lives in a document’s metadata. Your API clients can then filter their keyword alerts using those names.

Prerequisites

  • Operator access to edit and apply the alerts plugin configuration, as in Pin a plugin.
  • The JSON Pointer to each value, often inside a Version extension, the structured metadata attached to that document version. Allowed roots are /source, /provenance, /extensions and /accepted_at.
  • To check a preview: an API key with monitoring:write and grants for the collection (Corpus) containing the test document.

Steps

  1. Map each field name to its JSON Pointer in the alerts pin’s configuration. Replace <plugin endpoint reachable by Quivr> with the running plugin’s address. For example, not run:
    QUIVR_CONFIG
  2. Apply the configuration using Pin a plugin, or register and activate the plugin with the updated settings.
A list field matches when one of its values does. An unmapped name never matches, and the plugin logs a warning.

Check it worked

Send POST /v0/subscription-previews with a keyword query using your mapped field and a document carrying that value. Use monitoring:write and the relevant Corpus grants. Create a keyword alert explains the query syntax and preview; inspect the returned matches before saving an alert.
